CHOOSING RIGHT GPU FOR YOUR NEEDS

As you can see, if you are a tech savvy, you know how to choose the right gpu. But if you are not, then it might be a total headache for you to choose which gpu to buy as your wallet suports. A grahics card is a card that can give you handful of benifits if you install in your computer system. Add it up with a right gpu and you can get great performances with the graphics card. But if you do not have right cpu then you may have problems.(which i will explain later)
Now i cannot stess you more enough with my lengthy talks, without further waitings here we go as long as i have categorized it with lowest bucks that you can buy the gpu with the resolution you have.


1. 1280 X 1080 resolution(starting from 65$ to 110$ approx) : in this resolution you can max out graphics with the graphics card i listed below. you can turn on AA as well. The main contenders here are  AMD'S RADEON HD 6670 DDR3 OR DDR5, RADEON HD 5770, RADEON HD 7750.i cannot recommend 5670 gddr5 because it is not found currently in the markets. Currently, there is no good graphics cards from NVIDIA to Fulfill such needs and not recommended as to say BANG FOR THE BUCKS.

gts 450 and gts 240 are really slow if you look at price per performance ratio. so i did not recommend them.

THESE CARDS CAN HANDLE THESE SCREENS MAXED OUT,SO NO WORRIES PRICE ARE FINE AS WELL.

Best graphics cards at 130$-160$ and up: for effectively gaming at 1680x1050 resolutions.

The cards that falls in these categories are AMD’S RADEON HD 7770, RADEON HD 6850,GEFORCE GTX 460 AND GEFORCE GTX 560.

These cards can even help you to turn eye candy features like AA(anti-aliasing),AF(antisotropic filtering) which can be really hard on gpu’s, but don’t scare though, these cards can fulfill your needs easily at the resolution I recommended for. Besides these all cards are dx11 compatible, yum!!

FOR HD RESOLUTIONS (AT 1920 X 1080 RESOLUTIONS):

                                                                                    STARTING FROM 175$ TO 360$

These cards are meant or made to be dealt at extreme levels. They can support your needs for long times to come, after all these all cards do cost you a lot of money. The cards that falls in these categories are specially RADEON HD 6870, GEFORCE GTX 560 TI (448 CUDA CORES) AND RADEON HD 7850 AND RADEON HD 7870.

These cards do cost a lot, but AMD manufacturers really make power friendly gpus as well as cost friendly rather than GEFORCE. But don’t underestimate GEFORCE though, these cards can really help when you turn on AA, the results will surely go in favour of GEFORCE with being power hungry  gpu’s as well. But that might change, given the fact that NVIDIA’S LATEST architecture based on geforce gtx 6XX gpu’s, are gonna be real power friendly. We have seen it as well as we can see on various sites like

Toms hardware, legitreviews, guru3d reviews on geforce gtx 680,gtx 670 etc.

RADEON HD 6870: STARTING AT 175$

                                         A Cheapest card but don't take it lightly this card can do its job very well. price is really cheap at this point that you can buy it easily without spending much from your wallets. its recommended for budget friendly folks!!!

GEFORCE GTX 560 TI 448 CORES: STARTING AT 240$ TO 250$

                            NOT SO GOOD PRICE POINT AS CARDS BETTER THAN THIS HAVE COME OUT NOW IN 2012, I CANNOT SEE RECOMMENDING THIS CAUSE IF YOU CAN SPURGE 10$ MORE FROM YOUR POCKETS, YOU CAN GET A RADEON HD 7850 THAT CAN BEAT IT UP INSANELY AND DON’T TELL ME YOU DIDN’T FOLLOWED MY ADVICE. BUT STILL IF YOU CAN GET THIS CARD’S PRICED LOWER AS MUCH AS 200$ THEN THIS CARD WILL BE A GOOD DEAL, BECAUSE EVERY GAMER KNOWS IF THEY WANT TO TURN ON AA ON GAMES, OR USE CUDA CORES ON SOFTWARE APPLICATIONS, THEN GEFORCE IS THE WAY TO GO FOR YOU GUYS.

                    

RADEON HD 7850 : STARTING AT 250$ AND UP

                                        A SWEET SPOT DEAL, THAT ALMOST MATCHES GEFORCE GTX 570 IN GAMING AND AT SUCH A LOW PRICE IS A PERFECT STEAL FOR YOU GUYS. I MEAN AT LEAST LOOK AT THE SPECS AND YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN. OVERCLOCK IT WELL AND YOU CAN GET SPEEDS THAT CAN REACH 350$ RADEON HD 7870(ITS BIG BROTHER IN THE SERIES). TO SAY EXACTLY WHEN OVERCLOCKED WITH SOME VOLTAGE TWEAKS, YOU CAN GET IT OUTGUNNIG GTX 570 EASILY IN VIRTUALLY EVERY GAMES.

                                 

RADEON HD 7870: STARTING AT 350$

                            PRICED A LITTLE BIT HIGH CURRENTLY, BUT WHEN OVERCLOCKED WELL,(CAUSE YOU CAN) YOU CAN GET THIS GPU TO MATCH SPEEDS WITH GEFORCE GTX 580, WHICH IS A REAL GOOD DEAL FOR ME AND FOR MOST XTREME GAMERS OUT THERE WHO WANTS TO GET THE BEST THEY CAN BUY.

             

IF YOU ARE CONFUSED WHICH CARD TO CHOOSE, THEN LET ME TELL YOU, IF YOU CAN GO TO AT LEAST 250$, WHICH IS NOT MORE, YOU CAN GET RADEON HD 7850 WHICH IS VERY POWER FRIENDLY ONLY CONSUMING 120-130 WATTS OF POWER AND WHATS MORE, IT COMES WITH DX11.1 WHICH ALSO PROMISES YOU TO GET FULL BANG FOR THE BUCKS FOR GAMING.GO SEE THE DETAILED REVIEWS ON SITES LIKE TOM’S HARDWARE AND LEGIT REVIEWS, MY BEST ONE CHOICES IF YOU WANNA GET DETAILED HARDWARE SPECIFICATIONS AND BENCHMARKS.
